The Monte Vista was built in 1937, because of its historic nature our rooms are of all different sizes and configurations. All have been remodeled and are now cozy, clean and comfortable. Each room is newly furnished and decorated uniquely with colorful quilts and accessories. As in any home, it is an ongoing pleasure to be adding to and changing the rooms as we find ‘treasures’ that we think will be just perfect here and there. Each time you visit us, you may notice some changes and hopefully additional improvements, but that is the fun of doing what we are doing and that is why we are here.

All Queen rooms are furnished with queen size beds and all have private baths. The rooms on the first floor are more easily accessible to folks who do not wish to take the stairs to the second or third floor. Some of the first floor rooms also have remodeled baths with walk in showers.
King rooms are located on the second and third floors only. They each have a King size bed, private bath and are much larger than the queen rooms. The corner Kings are very light and airy with windows on two sides and refinished oak floors. Other King rooms are also furnished with a wet bar and small refrigerator.
These are two queen rooms, each with one queen bed, which share a single bath. They are particularly suited for families and folks traveling together. Located on the first, second and third floors.
Both of these rooms have an additional trundle bed, ideal for small children or one adult. These are located on first and second floors.
Queen: (1 bed)-$125-$135. per night
King: (1 bed)- $145-$150. per night
Suites: ( some with 2 queen beds)- $175-$200. per night
Each of our rooms are unique and rates vary by size and season. Rooms with double occupancy will incur an additional charge unless approved by management.
